The $836 million Unitus Community Credit Union of Portland, Ore., is now using a new IP communications software suite that has added several new channels to its member service lineup.

The $1.1 billion Associated Credit Union in suburban Atlanta is among the latest to offer a loan product to federal employees should the government shut down Saturday.

Marketing firm Epsilon, a third-party vendor that manages customer e-mail databases for more than 2,500 clients, said an unauthorized entry into its email system took place last week, reportedly compromising millions of clients’ customer names and e-mail addresses.
