The $1 billion Advantis Credit Union in the Portland suburb of Milwaukie, Ore., has hired Griff O'Brien as vice president of member services to oversee the retail sales and service strategies for the branch network and contact center.
O'Brien has more than 30 years of financial services experience, his new employer said, including positions with three of the nation's largest banks and two of Oregon's largest credit unions.
An Oregon resident for 24 years, O'Brien has been vice president of sales at U.S. Bank and regional manager with First Tech Credit Union. He also has branch management experience with The Bank of New York and Key Bank, Advantis said.
“Griff's experience, values and dedication to the customer/member experience are a perfect fit for his role at Advantis,” said President/CEO Bob Corwin.
