Two Kansas credit unions will be converting to the SharetecSystems core processing platform through Data Systems of Texas, thecompany said.

They are the $36 million Dillon Credit Union in Hutchinson andthe $22 million Co-Operative Credit Union of Coffeyville.

They'll be running the platform through a service bureau andalso offering remote electronic signatures, mobile banking, remotedeposit capture and electronic notices and alerts, the companysaid.

Both credit unions currently run on a Systronics core platform,according to the Technology Survey from Callahan &Associates.

Waco-based DataSystems of Texas is one of four regional owners of SharetecSystems of Lino Lakes, Minn., and said it now has 70 installationsaround the Southwest.

Another Sharetec partner, Bradford-Scott Data Corp. of Indianapolis, said it now isoffering the Easy Saver marketing tool to its credit unions.

The software rounds up debit transactions to the nearest dollarand adds the difference to the member's savings account.“Membersare amazed how a few cents can add up to big bucks. They are alwayslooking for ways to get ahead, and the Easy Saver program offersthem a great way to save,” said Anna Melecosky at the $62 millionLandmark CU in Danville, Ill.

Sharetec Systems, meanwhile, will hold its annual usersconference on Aug. 28-30 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center inFort Wayne, Ind. The company said more than 300 credit unions nowuse its core processing software.
