William Liddle, the former lending officer convicted in the AEAFederal Credit Union case, was reportedly stabbed Mondaymorning.

According to the Yuma Sun, Liddle's attorney, David Eisenberg received a callfrom Liddle saying that he was hit in the head and when he came tothere was a knife in his chest.

Liddle was scheduled to be sentenced Monday for his role in amillion-dollar loan kickback scheme that led to conservatorship andnear collapse of AEA FCU in Yuma, Ariz.

Liddle was taken to the hospital, the publication reported.Eisenberg said Liddle was not seriously wounded and wanted toattend the sentencing. He is still set to be sentenced at a laterdate.

Meanwhile, Liddle's wife, Rhonda, was sentenced to 12 months'home incarceration and five years of supervised release for herrole in the loan scheme.
