Public Service Credit Union, Denver, recently announced that residents of Adams and Weld counties are now eligible to join PSCU. Building on an existing Larimer County community charter, the addition of these two community charters opens up membership to more than 900,000 people.

In light of the recent change, Dave Maus, CEO of PSCU, stated “We are extremely excited about the approval to expand our charter to include all residents of Weld and Adams counties. This will provide residents of the two counties the opportunity to receive credit union benefits from Public Service Credit Union. We are finding that during current economic challenges, many people need an alternative to banking services with a financial institution whose motive is not profit but to provide financial membership to its member-users."

The credit union opened in Denver in 1938. A current initiative offered by PSCU is a free credit analysis designed to empower members by raising their credit scores.

The credit union has $1 billion in assets and more than 133,000 members.
