Credit Union Times is rolling out the red carpet to spotlight influential, forward-thinking women reshaping the future of the credit union community.
Unlike many workplaces, the credit union community has been particularly friendly to the female of the species. According to a CUNA report, 57% of credit union CEOs are women. However, as you climb the asset ladder, the career ladder goes limp. Only 26% of CEOs at credit unions with more than $1 billion in assets are women. A variety of historical factors contribute to these proportions, but the question is, What are we going to do about it?
Across all departments, ages and experience we want to recognize those women who are challenging the status quo and pushing creative solutions to address what ails the industry.
