Akcelerant said it has signed a partnership agreement with Symitar, allowing the company to market its collections software and other solutions to credit unions running on the widely used core processing system from Jack Henry & Associates.
The Akcelerant Framework, which also includes loan origination software, already is in place at more than 40 of Symitar's customers and is being used by more than 400 credit unions overall, according to Jay Mossman, president/CEO of Akcelerant in Malvern, Pa.
The agreement allows Akcelerant access to San Diego-based Symitar's vendor integration services and to market the Akcelerant platform to the core processor's client base of more than 700 credit unions.
“Akcelerant has tightly integrated its software to the Episys [core processing system] and gains new Symitar customers each quarter who wish to take advantage of Akcelerant technology,” the company said.
