ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NCUA launched "The Resource Connection" last week as a central location to access and share information on credit union business practices, partnership resources, funding and training opportunities.

|

The Resource Connection link, denoted by a computer icon on NCUA's homepage (www.ncua.gov), takes visitors to a wide-ranging resource tool. "The Resource Connection organizes and manages a vast scope of useful information that will constantly evolve," NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson said. "I encourage credit unions to utilize its many features and contribute their own best practices to the 'Credit Union Connection' section."

The Resource Connection is divided into three main sections. The Credit Union Connection features examples of programs and services provided by credit unions across the country including financial education, liquidity, loan and member services sections. The Partnership Connection includes profiles of programs offered by federal government agencies and foundations that partner with NCUA and credit unions. Finally, viewers can find out about scheduled NCUA training events and opportunities offered by NCUA's partner organizations at The Training Connection.
