BURBANK, Calif. — AFTRA-SAG FCU says member usage of its online banking site has increased by several thousand sessions a day since the site got a new look and expanded functionality last month.

The site re-design included expanding access to bill pay, fund transfers, records of ATM, debit and credit card transactions and loan applications. The design work was done by Blue Square Studios, which also provided CU staffers the ability to update site content themselves.

"We can now create targeted promotions including text and photographs that can go live immediately or at any future date. In the past, we had to schedule even simple site updates with the vendor, delaying implementation. Now we are in control," says Todd Nelson, the $215 million CU's vice president of marketing and communications.
