HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. – GrooveCar, an auto buying and support program for credit union in members in New York City and surrounding areas, will now be using the DecisionLender Web-based indirect decisioning system from Teledata Communications Inc., the companies announced. GrooveCar will use the DecisionLender system as an ASP service under the brand name AppTrac to streamline the auto loan process for hundreds of participating dealers and dozens of credit unions, the companies say. "We have a standard loan application for all credit unions, so the process is very streamlined," said David Jacobson, GrooveCar president. "If the loan isn't automatically approved within a few seconds at one credit union, the dealer can easily resubmit it to another eligible credit union with a click of a mouse." GrooveCar (www.groovecar.com) serves credit unions in all five boroughs and counties in southern New York and northern New Jersey. Among its credit union clients are Bethpage FCU, Teachers FCU, Suffolk FCU, Nassau County FCU and Nassau Educators FCU.
