All student loan borrowers are out to get an education, but for those who belong to credit unions, a different kind of schooling might be in store. Some credit unions say theyre placing an emphasis on educating their student loan recipients about the borrowing process, from application submission through repayment.

The NCUA is hosting listening sessions around the country for credit unions to air their grievances. The agency is providing notepads to write down comments and questions that can then be shared anonymously with the group for NCUA response.
