Larry Damm, the 18-year president/CEO of the $270 million Skyward Credit Union, said Tuesday he plans to retire at the end of September.
His successor will be Kevin Wilmoth, who currently serves as SVP/COO for the Wichita, Kan.-based credit union, Holly Dixon, Skyward's board chair, said.
Prior to serving as CEO, Damm was a volunteer on the board. He also served on the cooperative's supervisory committee for 17 years.

He was a former member of the board of directors of the Kansas Credit Union Association, which is now the Heartland Credit Union Association. Damm currently serves as a member of the State of Kansas' Credit Union Council.
"I am proud to have served those in the general aviation community with the great products and services of Skyward Credit Union," Damm said. "I will be leaving the credit union in good hands with Kevin and his staff. He has earned the confidence of our board and members."
Wilmoth served in various positions in lending and operations over his 19-year career with the credit union.
Prior to joining Skyward, he held other positions in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of Pittsburg State University and Southwest CUNA Management School.

"He has led the credit union through significant growth and development of services. We are pleased to have Kevin step into this new role as president. We are confident that he will continue the path of excellence achieved by Skyward Credit Union."
Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, Skyward (formerly Cessna Employees Credit Union) serves more than 15,000 current and former employees of Textron Aviation and members of their families.
