Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) announced Tuesday the committee will consider the nomination of Mark McWatters to serve on the NCUA Board in a hearing on Tuesday, March 4.
McWatters will share his spot on the panel with three Federal Reserve Board nominees, Dr. Stanley Fischer, Jerome H. Powell and Lael Brainard. Gustavo Velasquez Aguilar, a nominee for Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will also be on the panel.
A vote on the nominees will be scheduled for a later date, Johnson said in a release.
The hearing, which will take place in room 538 in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, will be webcast live at: http://banking.senate.gov.
