Members of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union who want to make the trip to California for the Rose Bowl may have another way to get there.
The $2.5 billion credit union in East Lansing, Mich., said it is offering its Bowl Loan. The minimum loan amount is $1,000 and has rates as low as 6.90% for up to 18 months.
There are no prepayment penalties or application fees and payments are available for as low as $60 per month depending on the applicant's credit score, according to MSUFCU.
On Jan. 1, the Michigan State University Spartans football team will play against Stanford in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
Some sport ticketing sites estimate that individual tickets to the game are running as high as $900 to $1,600.
