Sept. 11 was United Way Day of Caring for a team of sevenstaffers from the $399 million Diamond Credit Union in Pottstown,Pa. They showed up at Riverside Elementary School and commenced topull weeds, plant flowers and raking up the grassy areas around theReading, Pa., school.

“We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity to help out inthe community. It's so rewarding to hear the kids say 'thank you'and I know that this is an experience they will remember when theyare older, and hopefully they'll want to be volunteers too,” saidMonica McCoach, human resources associate at the 45,400-membercredit union.
