Sept. 11 was United Way Day of Caring for a team of sevenstaffers from the $399 million Diamond Credit Union in Pottstown,Pa. They showed up at Riverside Elementary School and commenced topull weeds, plant flowers and raking up the grassy areas around theReading, Pa., school.
|“We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity to help out inthe community. It's so rewarding to hear the kids say 'thank you'and I know that this is an experience they will remember when theyare older, and hopefully they'll want to be volunteers too,” saidMonica McCoach, human resources associate at the 45,400-membercredit union.
