The $148 million, 14,500 member United Educators Credit Union inApple Valley, Minn., has named Paul Dammann as its newpresident/CEO.

The credit union’s board chose Dammann to succeed the retiringDelbert Danielson in the top job at the 14,500-member UnitedEducators. The Bloomington, Minn., resident will assume the post inSeptember, the credit union said in an announcement Monday.

Dammann has more than 25 years of credit union experience, hisnew employer said.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Dammann has been at the $42million Soo Line Credit Union in Savage, Minn., for the past two years,including serving as president/CEO since July and senior vicepresident before that. He also had been senior vice president atthe $140 million Anoka Hennepin Credit Union in Coon Rapids, Minn.,and president/CEO at the former Anoka County FCU, the latter from 1998 to 2008, hisprofile said.

Dammann is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and is aCertified CreditUnion Executive who also serves on the Board of Directors of CUCompanies in New Brighton, Minn., United Educators said.

United Educators was established in 1957 and now serves theeducation community and supporters of the United EducatorsFoundation through branch locations in Apple Valley, Coon Rapids,Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park, and Woodbury, Minn., the credit unionsaid.
