The NCUA said this week it will host a free webinar on secondarycapital at 2 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 31.
|The agency's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives and RegionIII Division of Supervision will detail NCUA's requirements forlow-income designated credit unions to secure and use secondarycapital.
|The session is titled “Will Secondary Capital Work for You?” andalso will feature a credit union manager who utilizes secondarycapital to supplement the credit union's net worth and better serveits low-income field of membership, the NCUA said.
|Registration is free and online. Questions can be submitted in advance at [email protected]with “Secondary Capital Webinar” in the subject line.
