Eagle One Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia, announced the promotions of two longtime managers to the position of vice president. Terri Kelly has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of member services to direct staff efforts to deliver consistent, high-quality member services to the membership. Chris Doran has been promoted to the newly created position of vice-president of operations. Doran will provide ongoing analysis and planning of the credit union's product and service offerings. Kelly has been with Eagle One since 2004, most recently as branch manager of the Claymont office. She is a 2012 graduate of the Judge Bradley Credit Union School of Advanced Management. Doran has been working at Eagle One since 2002, most recently as branch manager of the Lindbergh Blvd. office. He brings over 17 years of credit union experience to this 

WEST

OSU Federal Credit Union, Corvallis, Ore., has named Carrie Koop as assistant vice president for human resources. Koop comes to OSU Federal with more than 20 years of experience in human resources within the finance and insurance industries in Oregon. Her initial position in human resources was with Freedom Federal Savings and Loan in the building that is OSU Federal's current Corvallis headquarters. Prior to self-employment as a consultant in 2009, she served nine years as vice president for human resources at Beecher Carlson Insurance Agency based in Portland. She has an undergraduate degree in personnel administration and industrial relations from Oregon State University.   

Unitus Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., announced that Jason Werts has been promoted to chief operating officer. Werts will continue to work closely with President/CEO Patricia Smith to ensure the strategic direction and overall quality of operations are appropriately executed across three frontline divisions: member service experience, lending, and planning/business development. Werts, who originally joined Unitus in 2006, previously served as the credit union's vice president of member services.  Prior to joining Unitus, Werts was a longtime vice president at Wells Fargo and brings more than two decades of financial services industry experience to his new position. Werts holds an MBA from Portland State University and a B.A. from the University of Puget Sound.

MIDWEST

FORUM Credit Union, Indianapolis, introduced organizational changes in the accounting and marketing departments. Julie Clark assumed the role of vice president of accounting, Eshain Roode was named accounting manager and Jacki Teachnor was promoted to assistant vice president of brand development and research. Clark began her FORUM career in 2011 as assistant vice president of accounting. Clark is an undergraduate of Southern Methodist University and is a certified public accountant. She is also a member of the American Institute of CPA's, Indiana CPA Society, and National Society of Professional Women.  Clark also serves as a board member of the Indiana CPA Educational Foundation.  She will oversee the completion of tax reporting and accounting estimates. Roode joined the FORUM team in 2012 and will serve as the manager of accounting.  Roode received her bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park and is also a CPA.  She has more than 22 years of public accounting experience, including work as an auditor, tax specialist, and controller for an engineering firm.  Roode's responsibilities will include coordinating and directing the accounting department as well as monitoring applicable laws and regulations regarding the credit union's operations.  Teachnor joined FORUM in 1998 and most recently held the position of FORUM's interactive and social media specialist.  She became a member of the marketing team in 2001 and has also held the position of the marketing and communications director.  Teachnor is an undergraduate of Ball State University where she studied English and journalism.  She also received her MBA from Anderson University.  Teachnor will oversee product research as well as marketing and branding initiatives at FORUM.

SOUTH

Champion Credit Union, Canton, N.C., announced that it has promoted Tiffany Gudger to lending assistant. Tiffany Gudger has a master's of science in applied mathematics from Western Carolina University.  She worked as an intern with Champion Credit Union in 2011 and joined the team as a part time member service specialist with the Arden office in November 2012.  As the lending assistant, Gudger will be based in the Canton office.

VENDOR

DeLeon & Stang, Gaithersburg, Md., welcomed Brad Hoffman, CPA, and Dan Dellon, CPA, ABV, CFF to its team. Hoffman joins the firm as a senior manager. In this role, he will provide tax and consulting services to a variety of clients, including those associated with trade contractors, restaurants, service businesses, consulting contractors, rental properties, investment properties, business acquisitions and start ups. Hoffman attended Shepherd University where he received his bachelor of science in accounting and business management.
