The $2.3 billion, 168,200-member Michigan State University Federal Credit Union has upgraded its mobile banking presence.

The East Lansing, Mich., institution – which claims the title of world's largest university-based credit union – said it developed the solutions in house. They include the Green on the Go site that appears on mobile devices as well as apps for iPhone and Android smartphones.

Functionality includes remote check deposits, rates, transfers, ATM locators, current rate information and the ability to correspond with MSUFCU staff, the credit union said.

“With 20% of MSUFCU members living outside the state of Michigan, these mobile services provide additional, convenient ways for members to manage their accounts no matter where they're located,” said April Clobes, the credit union's executive vice president and chief operating officer.
