Renee DeMarco is now president/CEO of the $63 million, 9,600-member Community Driven Credit Union in Ypsilanti, Mich., the credit union's board announced.

The 33-year credit union veteran is a graduate of Northwood University and had been president/CEO of CapCom Credit Union in Lansing, Mich., before its merger with DFCU Financial in 2009.

“I like to help make people's financial dreams come true,” DeMarco said. “Our members always come first. I look forward to getting to know the communities we serve.”

CDCU was founded in 1965 and serves members in Washtenaw, Macomb and Lapeer counties from offices in Ypsilanti and Romeo, Mich.
