Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announced that Chris Cantele and Matt Giorgi have been promoted to producing sales managers at HVFCU Financial Services, its investment division. In their new positions, Cantele and Giorgi are responsible for providing training and sales support to HVFCU Financial Services financial consultants at 21 branch locations throughout Dutchess, Orange, Ulster and Putnam counties. Cantele works with members as a senior financial consultant at the credit union's Wappingers Falls, Brewster and Carmel branches. Giorgi works as a senior financial Consultant in the Poughkeepsie branch. Both have been with HVFCU Financial Services since 2006.
Workers' Credit Union, Fitchburg, Mass. has named Judy Bourgault and Petra Rivera to the newly created positions of assistant vice president, regional manager, and Linda Lagoy to vice president, senior regional manager. Bourgault, who previously managed the credit union's Orange branch, will also oversee the Lancaster office and both Leominster locations. Rivera, who previously managed the Lunenburg branch, will also oversee the Acton and Chelmsford locations. Bourgault and Rivera will report to Lagoy, who will continue to manage the Fitchburg office as well as the Orange, Gardner, Twin City and Townsend branches.

Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., announced the hiring of Armand Stevens as assistant vice president branch manager of the downtown branch. With seven years of financial industry experience, Stevens will have responsibility for ensuring the branch's production, sales and growth success; compliance with regulations and policies; and staff management and development. Stevens replaces Sandy Hammond, who is taking her 20 years of experience to Columbia's Fourth Plain branch. Stevens most recently served as a branch manager for a local financial services institution, overseeing one full-service branch as well as an on-campus branch. He has completed various credit union management courses and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in speech communication. Columbia Credit Union also announced the hiring of Teresa Munn as mortgage officer. As part of the credit union's home loans team, Munn will focus on serving members and growing Columbia's market share by developing referral networks to gain mortgage lending opportunities. With nearly 17 years of mortgage lending experience, Munn most recently worked as a mortgage officer for a local financial institution.
The Golden 1 Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif., announced that Loretta Masters has been named vice president of its member service call center. Masters has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held executive positions at major national banks, including vice president of customer service and customer experience strategic initiatives manager. masters holds a bachelor of arts degree from Arizona State University.
Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, announced three new members elected and one new member nominated for a one-year term to the nine-member board of directors. Carol Ikeda, retired 4-H youth educator, University of Hawaii, and Donald Sasaki, retired owner of CAL-Kona Produce Inc., are the two new directors elected for two of the three board seats up for election. Thomas Whittemore, retired First Hawaiian Bank executive, was re-elected by the members. Mary Katayama, president of Union Products of Kona Inc., was nominated by the nominations and elections committee to fulfill a remaining one year-term seat. The board also named its officers: Dwight Manago as chairman and Daryl Kurozawa as vice chairman, Whittemore as treasurer and Katayama as secretary.

Lakeview Credit Union, Neenah, Wis., announced that Bob Olson has joined that credit union as office manager of the Appleton location. Olson has five years of experience in the banking industry and graduated from UW-LaCrosse with a degree in business administration–finance. Olson will be responsible for managing the staff and enhancing member relationships in addition to focusing on growing the visibility of Lakeview Credit Union and the Appleton location.
Veridian Credit Union, Waterloo, Iowa, announced that Larry Anderson has been promoted to business relationship officer. Anderson has been a Veridian employee for over four years and was most recently a loan officer. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Northern Iowa.

CFE Federal Credit Union, Lake Mary, Fla., announced the promotion of Katie Thomason to director of development for UCF Federal Credit Union, a division of CFE. In her new position, Thomason will be responsible for developing business and membership opportunities with the UCF affiliated membership. She will be building partnerships with the UCF community to help provide financial solutions to the students, faculty, staff and alumni. Previously, Thomason served as assistant vice president/branch manager at the CFE Lake Mary branch where she assumed full responsibility for its operations since October 2009. She joined CFE in 2008 as a new recruit to the management training program. Thomason received her BA from Rollins College and her MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College. UCF Federal Credit Union became a division of CFE Federal Credit Union under a merger agreement in November 2011.
Langley Federal Credit Union, Newport News, Va., to announced that William Eastburn has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the certification marks CFP, Certified Financial Planner and CFP in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements. Eastburn has worked at Langley Investment Services since May 1995 and is responsible for assisting clients with financial, college and retirement planning, as well as estate and trust planning. He also provides asset management services and tax-advantaged strategies, helps clients with life insurance and long-term care needs and 401K rollovers. Eastburn is FINRA Series-7 registered and an investment adviser representative.
