Oxford Federal Credit Union, Mexico, Maine, announced three personnel changes. Kevin Joler was recently hired as vice president of finance. Joler brings more than 11 years of finance and public accounting experience to OFCU and holds both a B.S. in accounting and an MBA from Thomas College. Tammy Daigle was awarded the position of vice president of human resources and marketing as a result of Cindy Girouxs' pending retirement. She has been with OFCU for 14 years. Rosemarie Brann has been employed with OFCU for 17 years and has been promoted to front line supervisor.

OnPoint Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., announced the promotions of Veronica Ervin to vice president/compliance director, Michele DeBuhr to vice president/consumer credit administration and Greg Smit to vice president/internal audit manager. Ervin has been with OnPoint for 13 years and most recently was the vice president/controller. She has more than 27 years of financial services experience and holds a B.S. in business administration/accounting and is a current MBA student at Portland State University. DeBuhr has more than 16 years of experience at OnPoint and was most recently the vice president/organization effectiveness. DeBuhr holds a B.A. from Evergreen State College and an MBA from George Fox University. Previously, DeBuhr has worked as an assistant branch manager, training and development manager, and project manager for database conversion at OnPoint. Smit has 13 years of experience at OnPoint and has held branch manager, lending services manager and real estate services manager positions. Smit has 23 years of financial services experience and is a graduate of Northwest Intermediate Banking School and a third-year student at Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa, Calif., recently re-elected four officials for three-year terms from 2012 to 2015. Incumbents Robert Eyler, Greg McGuirk and Jim Olmsted have been re-elected to the credit union's board of directors and incumbent Lou Funk has been re-elected to RCU's supervisory committee. Eyler has served as an RCU volunteer official since 2009 and as a Board Member since 2011. He is a professor of economics and the executive MBA program director at Sonoma State University. McGuirk has served on RCU's board of directors since 1987, after serving on RCU's supervisory committee for seven years. McGuirk is recently retired from his position as audit manager in the auditor/controller's office for the County of Sonoma. Olmsted has been an RCU volunteer official since 1993, and has served on the credit union's supervisory committee, as well as the board of directors for RCU Services Group. He is the principal of Olmsted & Associates, a land use planning consulting firm. Funk has served on RCU's volunteer supervisory committee since 1978. He is a retired hospital administrator from Community Hospital in Santa Rosa.

Astera Credit Union, Lansing, Mich., announced that Shawnna Henderson has joined the credit union as a marketing assistant. Henderson is a graduate of Miami University. Her primary role will be establishing and expanding Astera's youth initiatives aimed at potential members between the ages of 16 to 25. She will also be the voice of Astera's social media channels.
Consumers Credit Union, Kalamazoo, Mich., announced two promotions. Bob Moore has been promoted to office manager for Consumers Credit Union's Gull Road office. His duties include overseeing daily operations of the office, providing coaching and training support for his staff, meeting sales goals, and making connections with local businesses. He joined Consumers in 2005 as a commercial credit analyst for business services. Moore eventually trained to become a member service representative and was promoted to assistant office manager for Gull Road. Molly Whitfield has been promoted to assistant office manager for Consumers Credit Union's West Main office. She's responsible for coaching and staff development, growing and nurturing business accounts, and supporting all aspects of member relations. Whitfield has been with Consumers since 2008, starting as a part-time teller but soon moved into a full-time role of member service representative and loan officer.
SOUTH
CFE Federal Credit Union, Lake Mary, Fla., announced the promotion of Bryan Langhorst to assistant vice president/branch manager of its UCF Federal Credit Union division. In this new position, Langhorst will assume full responsibility for management and oversight of the 3 UCF FCU branch locations. He will focus on new account prospects and community involvement. For the past two years, Langhorst served as assistant branch manager at the CFE Weber branch. Previously, he held the position of member services representative at the East Orlando branch. He joined CFE in November 2006 as a member service representative in the call center. UCF Federal Credit Union became a division of CFE Federal Credit Union under a merger agreement in November 2011.
State Employees Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla., has hired Chris Boivin as vice president of communications and business development. Boivin will be responsible for the credit union's communications and marketing strategy and the growth of the credit union's membership. Boivin has 18 years of communications, marketing and information technology experience. He holds MBAs in marketing, finance and MIS from the University of South Florida and a bachelor of arts in communications from the State University of New York.
