It was Space Night on the Space Coast for the children of Durbin Creek Elementary School and 121 Financial Credit Union was there to help. About 1,500 people attended the PTO meeting at the Jacksonville, Fla., school for an evening of activities focused on what NASA has developed through the years that are now used in everyday lives.

Activities included laser shows, a walk-in globe, glow-in-the-dark rooms, educational booths and telescopes set up by the local astronomy club. The $435 million 121 Financial also made a cash donation to Durbin Creek with each credit union membership opened by a parent and gave the kids license plates for their bikes, 121 backpacks, koozies, pens, pencils and zip bags and NASA items.
