Since implementing fiVISION's automated account opening softwareACCOUNTworks 2G, Sb1 Federal Credit Union says it has shaved nearly 30 minutesoff each new member account opening process.

The Philadelphia-based, $535 million credit union said its newmember account opening process previously required the use of sixdifferent programs. Sb1 FCU implemented the solution from fiVISION, an Indiana-based technology vendor serving creditunions and community banks, in July 2011.

ACCOUNTworks 2G establishes new membership accounts and pullsChexSystems, OFAC and member credit reports in a single step, andis integrated to Sb1 FCU's XP System's core solution, the CUsaid.

“This online application has improved how individuals join ourcredit union as well as improved our internal opening processes fornew members, which is a big time saver for new members and staffalike,” said Linda Weber, vice president of member service for Sb1FCU. “Staff can now spend their time getting to know each newmember's specific financial needs and be able to offer products andservices that will benefit that member.”

Sb1 FCU also uses fiVISION's MEMBERworks software, a sales andservice focused member management platform.
