Republican presidential candidate and Texas Gov. Rick Perry isscheduled to speak at the Iowa Credit Union ConventionSept. 16.
|The Iowa Credit Union League said Perry will share his thoughtson credit unions, the economy and will also take questions fromconvention attendees.

|The Iowa league's convention will take place at the Polk CountyConvention Complex in Des Moines. The announcement comesjust after University of Iowa Community Credit Union President/CEOJeff Disterhoft lobbied President Obama on raising themember business lending cap at a White House forum on job creationin Peosta, Iowa.
