The Credit Union Risk Council has launched a new website aimed at helping credit unions better arm themselves against card fraud, including the first secured channel of communications with law enforcement of its kind, the group said.
The site at www.curc.org also includes card risk information, news and other resources, including an interactive forum for credit union staff, law enforcement and Visa and MasterCard companies.
"This unique site addresses credit unions' need for an unbiased source of information and news related to the risk of fraud. It also offers the added benefit of being able to receive communication from federal law enforcement agencies that can help protect credit unions and their members," said Ron Metsker, senior division officer of Credit Union Card Center.
