MeridianLink said its account opening tools have been added to the Internet banking services offered by First Data Corp.
“Our goal is to help our customers drive revenue and profitability through the best Internet banking solution possible, and this agreement provides needed capabilities,” said Brent Warrington, senior vice president and general manager of Financial Services at First Data in Atlanta.

MeridianLink said its multi-channel lending and account opening solutions are now in use by more than 400 credit unions and other financial institutions. More than 26,000 end users now use its enterprise business solutions that include Web-based credit reporting, the company said.
First Data is a global provider of payment services, including gift, credit and debit cards and check processing at millions of merchant location and through thousands of card issuers, the company said.
