Jack Henry & Associates of Monett, Mo., said it signed 32 new users of its Symitar core processing platforms in its 2010 fiscal year that ended June 30.
The company said the credit unions were all replacing competitors' systems and included new users of both the flagship Episys platform and CruiseNet for small to mid-sized credit unions. Seventeen will be in-house clients while the other 15 will outsource their transaction and information processing.
"Remaining compliant and establishing cost-effective measures were important factors in determining technology budgets during the year," Symitar President Ted Bilke said.

San Diego-based Symitar currently has about 550 credit unions using its Episys platform and about 730 total running its systems.
