Whether it is the Indianapolis Colts or the New Orleans Saints, ultimately it's the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions' Haiti Disaster Relief Fund that will score big this Super Bowl Sunday.
The Indiana Credit Union League and the Louisiana Credit Union League have made a friendly wager and the state whose team comes out on the short end of the scoreboard will make a donation to the fund in the other league's name.
Keyed up for the big game and pulling for the Colts to bring home the Super Bowl title for the second time in four years, Indiana League President John McKenzie said "Regardless of the outcome, it is nice to know that credit unions and their members in Haiti will benefit."

Equally thrilled to see the Saints make their first Super Bowl, Louisiana Credit Union League President Anne Cochran agreed adding, "This is an exciting time for us here in Louisiana, but we are still conscious of those who still need our help. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to have a little fun and still contribute to relief efforts."
To date, credit union system contributions from the two states combined have resulted in more than $16,000 for the fund.
