Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union, Geneva, N.Y., announced that Barbara Rose, risk management officer, received her credit union compliance expert certification. The six-module program offered by the CUNA Professional Development is a comprehensive look at regulations and compliances for senior management. Rose has been with Finger Lakes for the past eight years and was previously chief financial officer at the credit union.
Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, Albany, N.Y., announced that two employees of its subsidiary, CAP COM Financial Services, were named to the LPL Financial Chairman's Club. John Startrand, chief investment officer, and James Faranda, senior financial consultant were both named to the club based on a production ranking of all registered advisers at LPL Financial. The club is reserved for top achievers and represents less than 6% of the over 12,000 LPL financial advisers.
