Described as a "rare opportunity," credit union leaders will speak with the CEO of General Motors Corp.
Invest in America said a conference call is being arranged for noontime Monday with Frederick A. Henderson, the GM head to discuss national progress on the discount program.
Invest, the CUcorp affiliate of the Michigan Credit Union League, which since last December has promoted the member finance package tie-in with automakers and dealers, said the one-hour conference call session is open to select credit unions.

"Henderson will hear first hand from credit unions how the program is going and offer his appreciation for credit unions' support of the domestic automakers," said a league statement. "Credit unions can also weigh in on the type of discounts that would work for their members."
The call will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST.
Henderson, who has been with GM since 1984, became CEO of GM last March replacing Rick Wagoner when Wagoner stepped down at the request of President Obama in connection with GM's Chapter 11 reorganization.
