FraudMAP Goes Live at Truliant
Truliant Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., has added a new tool to its fight against online fraud.
The $1.2 billion institution has deployed the FraudMAP behavioral activity monitor from Guardian Analytics of Los Altos, Calif.
The solution models all individual online activity sessions and flags behaviors inconsistent with what would be expected, the company said.
"FraudMAP was easily integrated with our Digital Insight Internet banking platform and immediately alerted us to attempted fraud," said Bob West, chief information officer at 181,000-member Truliant.
"FraudMAP's behavior-based analysis capability makes our antifraud efforts proactive without requiring any changes to our online banking infrastructure or inconveniencing members," he said.
The company doesn't release client counts, but said Truliant joins Digital and Star One credit unions as FraudMAP users.
