More than 100 attendees from about 50 financial institutions gathered recently at an Indianapolis hotel for the fifth annual users' conference for intranet portal specialist Passageways LLC.
Keynote speakers were Ron Nice, Rich Scholes and Daniel Nice from strategic planning form Nice Enterprises. Their topic was market trends and the changing technological landscape.
The conference also included presentations by co-founders Christopher Beltran and Paroon Chadha on upcoming new products including the Portal Guru.

The conference also saw the launch of Passageways' new portal certification program, developed to test and certify portal administrators and workgroup managers. More than 30 certifications were awarded and more courses are planned.
Passageways (www.passageways.com) was launched in 2003 as a CUSO of Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union and now has than 150 customers, the company said.
