Credit Union 24 announced that four more CUs have joined its network, and credit unions worth more than $4.3 billion in assets have renewed their contracts. The four new credit unions that joined the Credit Union 24 network are Avestar Credit Union in Bloomington, Minn.; Dade County Federal Credit Union in Miami, Fla.; O.U.R. Federal Credit Union in Eugene, Ore.; and Toro Employees Federal Credit Union in Bloomington, Minn, the network said. The 12 credit unions that renewed in the first quarter signed up to five-year contracts."This network expansion illustrates how the Credit Union 24 network offers flexible programs that can enhance credit unions' bottom line, as we're constantly working with credit unions to find solutions," said Jim Park, CEO of Credit Union 24. "The ultimate goal is to deliver superior financial products and flexible service to credit union members, and these credit unions have recognized the financial power that comes from joining a member-owned cooperative.""One of the many reasons for joining the Credit Union 24 network is the value and ROI generated for our credit union and our members as a result of being a member-owned POS network," said George Joseph, manager of Dade County Federal Credit Union in Miami, Fla. "Not only will we recognize increased interchange income and save our members thousands on ATM surcharge fees, we are also part of a select group within the credit union movement that has a direct choice and voice on our POS offering and the value that it brings to our existing and future members."–[email protected]
