Innovation and economic policy are among the topics scheduled to be discussed at CUNA's America's Credit Union Conference and Expo.
Bert Jacobs, cofounder of Life Is Good, will discuss how he turned those three words on a T-shirt-Life Is Good-into a powerful brand with more than $100 million in annual sales during his speech.
CUNA Senior Vice president of Research and Chief Economist Bill Hampel and CUNA Vice President of Economics and Statistics Mike Schenk will discuss the current and future state of the economy.
The conference, which is scheduled to be held between June 21 and June 24 in Boston, will have speakers covering a range of management, policy and historical subjects.
Best-selling author Gary Kawasaki will discuss how credit unions can innovate and create new products.
There will also be an informative and humorous tribute to the late Sen. George Norris (R-Neb.) a key figure in the passage of the Federal Credit Union Act. Norris was a leading maverick lawmaker and was one of the senators profiled in John F. Kennedy's Pulitzer-Prize winning book Profiles in Courage.
