Former White House Chiefs of Staff Leon Panetta and Andrew Card were featured as keynote speakers at the league conference. The two shared their opinions regarding the recent presidential election.

Considering that Panetta served under former President Clinton and Card under the current President Bush, the two joked about their political differences. One thing they both agreed upon: George W. Bush is still president until Jan. 20, 2009. Until then, President-elect Obama has no executive power, and Obama supporters should adjust their expectations accordingly.
