WESTBROOK, Maine — Synergent said it is expanding into New York with the signing of a Watertown credit union to a core processing contract.

The subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League is adding the $135 million Northern FCU to its roster of more than 50 credit unions it said it has converted to the Symitar Episys platform in the past four years.

The 24,000-member CU (www.northernfcu.com) currently runs on a Fiserv IntegraSys core platform, according to its 5300 Call Report with the NCUA.
