Saugus Federal Credit Union, Saugus, Mass., announced that James Baglieri has joined the credit union as branch manager-mortgage specialist. Baglieri will have the responsibility of meeting and servicing the lending and mortgage needs of members. Prior to joining Saugus, Baglieri was a branch manager with Sovereign Bank/North Shore.

VanScoy will be responsible for overseeing retail sales activities and acquiring new lending partnerships. VanScoy will also be responsible for managing KEMBA's auto indirect lending service. VanScoy has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. She was most recently finance manager with Reynoldsburg Motor Car.

Credit Union Executives Society, Madison, Wis., announced that Jessica Hrubes was named vice president/marketing. Hrubes started at CUES in 2001 as a marketing specialist. Her most recently position was director of marketing. Hrubes was an instrumental part of the team that developed the "Choose CUES" campaign.

Heritage Federal Credit Union, Newburgh, Ind., announced that Brad Will joined the credit union as the new director of internal audit. Will comes to Heritage from CMC where he was most recently the vice president of outbound services and operations support.

SOUTH

Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation, Herndon, Va., announced that Executive Director Linda Rogus was named vice president of education officer of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Dulles Chamber's Education Council works on developing programs that support educational and career-related experiences for students. The education council has hosted programs such as Reality Store, which was the winner of the 2008 Fairfax County Public Schools career connection award with the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation.

Virginia Credit Union, Richmond, Va., announced staff additions and promotions. Neelam Thompson was named vice president of strategy, planning and administration. Thompson is responsible for the credit union's project management office, strategy alignment and information technology governance functions. Sudesh Aggarwal was hired as business continuity planner. Aggarwal was previously vice president for business continuity, disaster recovery and records management at Webster Financial.

Texas Credit Union League, Dallas, announced the promotion of Linda Webb-Manon to director of public relations. Webb-Manon worked as communications director for over eight years for the league. Webb-Manon was also the editor of the league's magazines, newsletters and e-newsletters. Prior to coming to the league Webb-Manon was a newspaper reporter.

WEST

Community One Federal Credit Union, Las Vegas, announced that Thea South has been named branch manager of the Shadow Creek location that just opened in September. Ashley Martinez was named Shadow Creek assistant manager. Hema Hernandez and Lisa Porter were named Shadow Creek member service representatives. Shane Ozuna was named the new Montecito branch manager. Luisa Sanchez was named member service representative. Kristin Lindsley was named manager for the Horizon branch and the Center Point branch.

Greater Nevada Credit Union, Carson City, Nev., announced that Karen Egesdahl was appointed Sparks branch manager. Egesdahl comes to Greater Nevada with 20 years of experience at Bank of America where she held a variety of front-line and management positions throughout the West Coast. Egesdahl was most recently the manager of Bank of America's Spanish Springs operation.

CU Members Mortgage, Denver, announced the hiring of Patrick Kearney as regional sales manager for the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Kearney will help credit unions with the growing demand for home loans in those areas. For almost 18 years, Kearney has worked with more than 250 credit unions and leagues.

NewGround, St. Louis, a leading international design and implementation firm serving the financial services industry, announced the appointment of three vice presidents. John Kennan, Mark Snyder and Andrew Ward have joined the NewGround sales team. Keenan joined NewGround as division vice president and is responsible for business development activities in Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Nevada. Snyder will lead business development activities in Texas. Ward was appointed vice president of national accounts for NewGround's retail division and will lead business development activities for financial institutions on the East Coast.
