Vermont Federal Credit Union, Burlington, Vt., announced that President/CEO Joseph M. Finnigan has retired. Finnigan will remain on as treasurer of the board of directors through at least his full term which commences in 2010. Finnigan was president/CEO at Vermont FCU for the past 30 years and helped the credit union grow from $1.5 million in assets to the fourth largest credit union in Vermont with $215 million in assets and over 250,000 members.

Capital Communications Federal Credit Union
, Albany, N.Y., announced the hiring of two managers. Maureen Holteen has been hired as the manager of risk management. Holteen will be responsible for fraud and security training and prevention and the physical security of all locations and regulatory compliance. She was previously employed as the east region security manager, vice president at KeyBank. Christine Calacone was hired as the Niskayuna branch manager. She was previously employed as branch manager for Pioneer Savings Bank.

SEFCU, Albany, N.Y., announced the hiring of Nicole Stein as director of marketing. Stein has more than 14 years of marketing and public relations experience. She most recently was the senior account executive for Media Logic. Stein is also a board member of the AIDS Council of Northeast New York, the 2009 Fire and Ice gala chair for the American Red Cross of Northeast New York and a past president of the New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association.

El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union, El Paso, Texas, announced the three officers received the Credit Union Compliance Expert Certification after successfully passing the required regulatory training and certification program though CUNA. The officers were Ken Walters, executive vice president; Art Juarez, vice president finance and Adam Lozoya, compliance officer.

ABNB Federal Credit Union, Chesapeake, Va., announced that Amy Kapa has been hired as business services manager. Kapa has worked in the banking industry for 16 years and is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia.

Generations Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the promotion of Shirley Allen to vice president of branch operations. Allen started at Generations in August 2006 as a branch manager. Allen spent 25 years at J.P. Morgan Chase and retired has vice president and division manager of cash services before coming to Generations. Allen is responsible for planning, directing, organizing and controlling the operations activities for all of Generation's branches.

Technology Credit Union, San Jose, Calif., announced that Cynthia Erickson has joined its board of directors. Erickson has more than 20 years experience in leadership and business management with Fortune 500 companies. This includes nine years with First Interstate Bank of California as vice president human resources and vice president line manager. Currently, Erickson is an adjunct business professor at Menlo College and is a member of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives, a professional Silicon Valley business group.

Northwest Community Credit Union, Springfield, Ore., announced the promotion of three employees to regional managers. Debra Rollin, Patrick Boss and Jan Griffin have all been promoted to regional managers. Rollin has been at Northwest Community for 15 years, and she has most recently worked as the Springfield branch manager. Boss has been at Northwest Community since 1990 and most recently worked as Eugene branch manager. Griffin has worked at Northwest Community for 25 years and most recently worked as Medford branch manager.

Rocky Mountain Credit Union, Helena, Mont., announced the hiring of Matthew Stolle as vice president-finance/chief financial officer. Stolle's responsibilities include directing and managing the credit union's financial investment and accounting functions.
