GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Open Solutions Inc. is now offering its credit union and bank clients the hardware deployment solution for distributed check capture from Superior Press of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
Superior Press (www.superior-press.com) said it ships more than 500 scanners per month and provides inventory and fulfillment management, hardware testing, packaging welcome kit materials, reporting, shipping notifications, online service requests and 24/7 order tracking to support the client help desk.

Wisconsin CUs Choose
Software to Help Merger
MADISON, Wis. — Software from Las Vegas-based TFactor Inc. will be used to help the merger of two credit unions into Wisconsin's largest, the company said.
The combined $730 million Summit CU and $400 million Great Wisconsin CU will be Wisconsin's largest.
They will use the company's KnowledgePortal 360 first to facilitate Web conferencing between staffs of the two credit unions as they move toward the completion of the merger later this year, the company and credit unions said.
The merged credit unions will keep the Summit name and serve about 110,000 members at 20 locations across the state, they said.
The KnowledgePortal solution also can be used for classroom setting and e-learning delivery, the company said, and will be delivered itself remotely in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment.
Summit said it will roll out its new training curriculum over the next few months, including off-the-shelf courseware and custom product knowledge.
