CHICAGO, Ill. — Financial Managers Society has elected Daryl J. Cady, executive vice president/chief financial officer at St. Mary's Bank CU, to the board of directors, the first female and first credit union executive to serve as chairman of the association in its 60- year history.

"FMS is a valuable resource for so many finance and accounting professionals around the country," said Cady. "I am honored to be taking a new leadership role in such a distinguished organization. I will continue the efforts under way to provide members with access to timely industry information as well as assist in creating more education and networking opportunities."

At St. Mary's Bank, Cady oversees finance, operations, IT and facilities. She has served as CFO at three other financial institutions and has held various accounting roles over the last 18 years. Cady is a certified public accountant and holds a master's in business administration.
