Keys Federal Credit Union, Key West, Fla., announced that Marianne Magner was promoted to assistant vice president of human resources. Magner started at Keys in 1997 as a teller. During her time at Keys Magner earned a special projects award as human resources director and internal customer services and leadership accolades. Also, Renee Travis joined Keys as the new marketing director.

TopLine Federal Credit Union, Maple Grove, Minn., announced the president/CEO Harry Carter was named the chair of the Minnesota Credit Union Network board.

Baxter Credit Union, Vernon Hills, Ill., announced that several investment adviser representatives have been recognized as a President's Council performer by BCU and CUNA Mutual Group. Judy Evers, Richard Chambers, Bryan Farrissey and David James registered through CUNA Brokerage Services Inc. and have been recognized as President's Council performers. President's Council is the highest recognition a financial adviser registered through CUNA Brokerage Services can achieve.

Landmark Credit Union, New Berlin, Wis., announced that Jim Newman has been hired as vice president, accounting. Newman most recently worked as a controller for a dealer finance indirect lending group/company.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced that Kevin Faulkner has been hired as senior vice president of operations. Faulkner was previously senior director of consumer finance technology at HSBC. Mark Steiman was hired as chief human resources officer. Steiman was previously first vice president/banking channel manager at Washington Mutual. Karen Christensen was hired as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Christensen was previously chief financial officers of Ameriquest Mortgage. Jorge Ramos was hired as vice president of portfolio management, lending analytics and operations. Ramos was previously senior vice president of ResMAE Mortgage Corp.

Clark County Credit Union, Las Vegas, announced that Kathleen Woods was hired as full-time teller at the Windmill branch. Woods previously worked at Sam's Club as a cashier and is attending the College of Southern Nevada to receive her degree in business.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, Colorado Springs, Colo., announced that employee Donna Williams was the winner of The Colorado Springs Business Journal's 2008 rising star award. The award is presented to professional under the age of 40 and Williams was recognized for her professional accomplishments and community involvement. Williams has worked at Security Service for the past six years.
