MURRIETA, Calif. — Software that cleans up mailing lists and makes it available to front-line personnel has been sold to six more credit unions by CUTEK, a consultancy that specializes in working with the Symitar Episys core processing system.
They are the $3.5 billion Alaska USA FCU of Anchorage, the $1.8 billion Mission FCU of San Diego, the $1 billion Apple FCU of Fairfax, Va., the $599 million CoVantage CU of Antigo, Wis., the $236 million First U.S. Community CU of Sacramento and the $97 million Delaware State Police FCU of Georgetown, Del.
There now are 36 credit unions signed to use Correio, a real-time, multipoint solution that pushes the U.S. Postal Service's address database, which is updated twice monthly, into the Symitar Episys system, according to CUTEK (www.cutek.net).

When the credit union's member service representative types in an address, Correio kicks in by validating the address. If the address is bad, a dialog box containing an alert appears on the screen. Correio also standardizes the addresses by adding the ZIP+4 to the ZIP Code to allow for more efficient and accurate sorting and routing.
"Member service, productivity, growth and better opportunities to cross-sell and communicate across the member base are the main benefits of improved address quality," said Ron Murray, president of CUTEK, which now serves more than 90 clients.
