Ledge Light Federal Credit Union, Groton, Conn., announced the hiring of Paul Pescatello as the service center manager. Pescatello will manage the day-to-day operations of all three service centers. Also, Ledge Light FCU announced the promotions of five employees. Tina Waterman was promoted to service center supervisor, Meghan Hopkins was promoted as service center supervisor, Etta Nelson was promoted as manager lending, Wendy Staskivitch was promoted as supervisor and Robin Dowd was promoted as quality control specialist.
Workers' Credit Union, Fitchburg, Mass., Board of Directors elected Marina M. Raher chairman and James E. Rouse vice-chairman. Also, Raher, Jack S. Ford, and John Morse were re-elected by the membership of the credit union for three-year terms expiring in 2011.

Pennsylvania Credit Union Association, Harrisburg, Pa., announced that it has selected Kathy Linn of Service 1st Federal Credit Union to receive the Joseph A. Moore Award for the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. Linn has served on the Board of Directors of Service 1st FCU and has served as chair since 1982. The Joseph A. Moore Award is the top award for volunteers and is presented in the memory of an Association Board of Director.

MAX, Your Community Credit Union, Montgomery, Ala., announced that R. Stan Phillips was elected chairman of the board. Phillips previously served as vice chairman of MAX.
Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the promotion of Daniel Lane to assistant vice president of indirect lending. Lane previously served as manager of the department and joined Security Service FCU in 1997.
Andrews Federal Credit Union, Suitland, Md., announced the hiring of two officers to its executive team. James Vancini was hired as vice president of lending and chief lending officer. Robert Flanyak was hired as vice president of member services.
DuPont Community Credit Union, Waynesboro, Va., announced five promotions and one new hiring. Kimberly L. Dean was promoted to the new position of senior vice president of technology and lending. Steve Elkins was promoted to senior vice president of finance and retail. Barry Smith was promoted to vice president of business retail services. Kyle Stutzman was promoted to vice president of technology systems. Steve Pittman was promoted to vice president of accounting and finance. Angie Bandy was hired as the new controller.

Catholic Federal Credit Union, Saginaw, Mich., announced that Susan Hackenberg was promoted to controller/accounting supervisor. Hackenberg has been employed at Catholic FCU for the past 16 years in the teller, accounting and loan areas.
Firestone Federal Credit Union, Akron, Ohio, announced that Linda Finch has been promoted to treasurer. Finch joined Firestone FCU in January 1995.
American 1 Federal Credit Union, Jackson, Mich., announced the promotion of Dennis Cough from information services & technology manager to vice president of technology and research & development.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced the hiring of Melinda Dorji as vice president of loan servicing.
Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa, Calif., announced the promotion of Cynthia Negri and Andy Ramos. Negri has been with RCU for 11 years and was promoted from senior vice president of member services to senior vice president of administration and strategic planning. Ramos started at RCU in 2002 and was promoted from assistant vice president of sales and service to senior vice president of member services.
Point West Credit Union, Portland, Ore., announced the promoted of Amy Nelson to vice president of corporate development. Nelson joined Point West CU in April 2007 and was previously the training and education manager.
