ROANOKE, Va. — President/CEO of Member One Federal Credit Union Richard Williams announced that he will be retiring.

Williams has been CEO of Member One for the past 35 years. When he started Member One FCU was N & W Credit Union serving Norfolk and Western employees with $2.8 in assets, one branch in the basement of the N&W building in Roanoke, and six employees. Now, Member One has over $330,000,000 in assets, 15 branches including three student run facilities, a national ATM network and 160 employees.
