ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — PSCU Financial Services' 1,100 credit unions will soon be offered mobile banking and payment services they can market to their members.
The big CUSO said it will use mFoundry's Spotlight Financial Platform and its relationships with Digital Dialogue, First Data Corp. CheckFree, eFunds Prepaid Services, and core processors to offer a cost-effective, secure platform.
"We are in a unique position to offer a mobile commerce platform that uses state-of-the-art technology along with interoperable payment systems to create a robust solution for our member-owner credit unions," said David Serlo, president/CEO of PSCU Financial Services.

"Our mobile banking solution will support multiple technologies and devices to equip credit unions to attract new members, appeal to the needs of Gen Y, increase member satisfaction and retention, and showcase brand differentiation for our credit union," Serlo said.
The service is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2008, the CUSO said.
mFoundry is based in Sausalito, Calif., and is one of a handful of mobile banking specialists gaining traction in the credit union community. It also recently announced that Fidelity National Information Services would offer the Spotlight platform to its client base of several hundred credit unions
