TEMPLE, Texas — There is a new leader at Texell Federal Credit Union.

Former Associated Credit Union of Texas Chief Operating Officer Tony Hale has taken the reins as President/CEO, assuming the role held by Eldon Wulbrecht, who will be retiring in early 2008.

"Tony is a proven credit union executive with the extensive credit union experience necessary to help us reach our goal of providing members with unparalleled financial products and services," said Texell FCU Board Chairman Daniel Bowen.

During Hale's tenure at Associated CU, he introduced new programs and services that helped lead the credit union to record growth.

"Tony is a very hands-on executive with cutting edge ideas as to how to improve credit union operations," said Bowen. "His experience working within all aspects of the credit union allows him to create a unique institutional synergy that benefits the entire credit union and its membership. We're excited to have such a dynamic executive in the president/CEO leadership position."
