WASHINGTON — The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network has improved its search engine on its Web site, www.fincen.gov.

The new search engine will provide for more accurate and robust search capabilities for users. It will deliver faster results and allow users to search through more than 220 file types, including forms and regulations.

Users will also have the capability to sort results by relevancy or date and the option to fine tune searches for all materials on www.fincen.gov and www.msb.gov, a FinCEN Web site for money services businesses. Another highlight of the new search engine is a key word matching function, which provides highlighted results at the top of the search results.
