HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Ongoing Operations LLC will be using a sophisticated piece of hardware from Teneros Inc. (www.teneros.com) of Mountain View, Calif., as its disaster recovery solution for the processes powered by Microsoft Exchange, including e-mail.
The Teneros Application Continuity Appliance will be used to maintain electronic communications for the 40 credit unions now served by Ongoing Operations, a CUSO formed in 2005 by a group of credit unions in the Washington, D.C. area to provide business continuity services.
"Money is a very sensitive topic, so being able to maintain electronic communications with individual members not only allows credit unions to keep their businesses running, but it prevents them from suffering devastating damage to their reputations. Teneros appliances allow us to provide that business-critical, 24/7 e-mail uptime, which is exactly what our clients need," says Kirk Drake, founder and CEO of Ongoing Operations (www.ongoingoperations.com).
