GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Gainesville Regional Utilities and 1st Credit Union of Gainesville have joined forces to help area homeowners go green in their homes.
With the GRU Low Interest Energy Efficient loan, residential electric customers can now make energy efficient improvements to their homes.
The five-year, $1,000 to $10,000 loans with a 3% APR can be used to purchase everything from ENERGY STAR appliances and high efficiency central air conditioning systems to solar electric photovoltaic systems.
